She currently studies under Tzuyi Chen and has performed works by composers from the Baroque to the Romantic era, with a particular admiration for Chopin. Outside of music, Roma is a STEM-focused student whose appreciation for classical music reminds her that structure and creativity can coexist in perfect harmony.

General Criteria Extreme Tempo - speed of switching between notes and coordinating faster is one of the two key components to impressing the club of swift players. Extreme Accuracy - accuracy of landing every note and change is the other key component to flashy playing. Marvelous Presentation - playing fast is one thing, but looking as if you didn't break a sweat doing it and maybe had time to wink at the crowd can truly bring the heat to the audience. Consistency - staying flashy is great an all, but doing it for the entire duration of a piece and testing on bigger and harder works without faltering is showing true mastery.

He has held senior management positions with numerous American radio stations, including WFMT and the WFMT Radio Network/Chicago, WBUR/Boston, WGBH/Boston, WCRB/Boston, KPFA/Berkeley, WBGO/Newark, Vermont Public Radio and Nebraska Public Radio Network.ork. Robinson served as general manager of the statewide Nebraska Public Radio Network (1990-2000) and WFMT and the WFMT Radio Network from 2000 until October 2016. A 50-year radio veteran, he has produced programs ranging from classical music documentaries to public affairs programs and has directed over 100 on-air pledge drives. He has held senior management positions with numerous American radio stations, including WFMT and the WFMT Radio Network/Chicago, WBUR/Boston, WGBH/Boston, WCRB/Boston, KPFA/Berkeley, WBGO/Newark, Vermont Public Radio and Nebraska Public Radio Network.ork. Robinson served as general manager of the statewide Nebraska Public Radio Network (1990-2000) and WFMT and the WFMT Radio Network from 2000 until October 2016. A 50-year radio veteran, he has produced programs ranging from classical music documentaries to public affairs programs and has directed over 100 on-air pledge drives. In 1984, he co-founded AIR, the Association of Independents in Radio, a service organization to assist independent radio producers in the United States. Robinson wrote AIR’s first two successful grants from the New York State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. < Back Previous Orrin Pridgen Next Gala at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall November 24, 2025 WATCH VIDEO Orrin began his musical journey at the age of 6, studying piano with renowned instructor David Vancampen, before continuing his training under the guidance of accomplished pianist Kikue Swensen. He further honed his skills at the NY Conservatory of Music. Orrin’s passion spans a wide array of musical styles, including jazz, classical, ragtime, contemporary, blues, soul, and meditation music. Over the years, he composed, arranged, and improvised original pieces while performing across the East Coast in venues such as Vivaldi Restaurant, The Consulate of NY, Waltz Astoria, Cafe Wha, and The Palisades Center Mall, among others. His performance experience extends to recitals, weddings, churches, and business events, and he has collaborated with various musicians throughout the tri-state area. Outside of music, Orrin pursued a Master's in Business Administration from Long Island University and completed Executive Education courses at Columbia University. He currently works in the real estate industry. Orrin's musical journey also includes a formative experience in high school choir, which led him to begin singing and performing at his local church. As a singer-songwriter, he enjoys writing music and performing at live venues, often incorporating keyboards and guitar. Beyond his musical endeavors, Orrin was a Division I scholar-athlete in college and is a passionate photographer.

The event will stream to multiple social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and LinkedIn. Virtual Concert Halls will take the 18-hour live Internet Web stream from 5:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. CT from the Institute’s gallery and distribute it live to major social media platforms. Virtual Concert Halls streams live events from all over the world and are experts at streaming simultaneously on multiple social media platforms. Throughout the broadcast, news anchors will interview a wide variety of people who are close to the situation in Ukraine including historians, scholars, lawmakers, young Ukrainian refugees who recently arrived in Chicago, among others. UNICEF has been in Ukraine for 25 years—and it is on the ground now, delivering safe water, health and hygiene supplies, blankets, warm clothes and psycho-social care to children and their families. Security is especially crucial during this time when many children and youth are separated from their families which leaves them in indescribably vulnerable. Donations are accepted any time before, during, and after the live stream. According to a recent statement by UNICEF USA, two million children have now been forced to flee Ukraine, as the war rages on. “The situation inside Ukraine is spiraling,” said UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell. “As the number of children fleeing their homes continues to climb, we must remember that every single one of them needs protection, education, safety and support.” In a joint statement, Motria Melnyk, President of the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art and Marta Farion, Vice President said, "The war in Ukraine is breaking all of our hearts and so the opportunity to make our facility the staging area for this amazing fundraising effort was enthusiastically welcomed by our board and staff." In addition to her work at the Ukrainian Institute, Farion is also the president of the Kyiv-Mohyla Foundation of America. He was admitted to the oboe major of the Central Conservatory of Music Middle School in 2020. Now he is studying in the second year of junior. He is taught by Professor Wei Weidong, a famous Chinese oboe player, educator, professor of the Central Conservatory of Music, and the first oboe doctoral tutor in China. Since childhood, he has developed a keen interest in music and musical instruments. As the oboe principal of Shenzhen Cuizhu Primary School Orchestra during elementary school, he participated in many performances such as the China-Korea concert and the special concert of Shenzhen Youth Music Week held at the Shenzhen Grand Theater, and assisted the orchestra to win 4 group gold medals and 1 silver medal.
