September 10th - All Applications, fees and first tier optional videos are due. 

September 30th - October 2nd - First tier auditions

October 15th @ 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time - All second tier audition videos due

October 21nd - Second tier broadcast online. Results announced by October 23

October 29th - Recital performance confirmation deadline

November 21st @ 8:00pm EST - Recital at Carnegie Weill Hall, LIVE in person

Soloists, Ensembles & Composers of all levels and ages may apply.

Musicians selected to perform must confirm and PAY PERFORMANCE FEES no later than October 29th*

Ensembles/chamber orchestras/other groups of up to 16 musicians can apply. No live audition is required for large ensembles. Deadline to apply is 09/25. Please enquire regarding special accommodations for ensembles up to 16 members director@progressivemusicians.com.

Application fee $100 per soloist, or ensemble, or composer.

Application fee to perform with NYCPO $250 per soloist (instrumental or vocal)

Application fee for ensembles up to 16 members: $250 per ensemble

Performance fee includes:

Professionally made DIGITAL VIDEO of your performance

Short sound check on stage prior to the concert

Performance photos

Digital program booklet

Certificate

Medal

Up to 4 complimentary tickets per musician including the performer ($240 value)

Concerto performance fee includes a separate rehearsal with the orchestra 

$550 per instrumentalist, per ensemble, per vocalists

$1,050 per one movement of a concerto with the orchestra (includes a separate rehearsal with the orchestra) 

For composers $100 per minute of the piece’s duration. See Regulations for accepted instrumentations
