Guided by renowned cellist Juliette Herlin, Daniela holds an Artist Diploma in Cello Performance from Texas Christian University and OAcademy Music Conservatory, a Master’s degree from Sam Houston State University, and a Bachelor’s degree from the Conservatory of the National University of Colombia. She has also participated in master classes with internationally acclaimed artists including Kian Soltani, Santiago Cañón-Valencia, Leonard Elschenbroich, Astrid Schween, and Elisabeth Akins.

Pomietlarz serves as Director of Choral Activities and the Producer/Vocal Music Director of the Amherst Operetta Association. He was recently the recipient of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra/Erie County Music Educators Association (ECMEA) “Outstanding Music Educator of the Year Award,” and previously was recognized as the 2013 Amherst PTSA "Outstanding HS Educator of the Year." He has been selected as Teacher of the Month numerous times, and is also listed in “Who’s Who of American Teachers.” As producer and musical director of the Amherst Operetta, he has led ambitious award-winning productions including Sweeney Todd, TITANIC, Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables, SEUSSICAL: the Musical and Urinetown: the Musical to name a few. < Back Previous Caden Chau Next Pianist Gala at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall February 17, 2025 WATCH VIDEO Fourteen-year-old pianist Caden Chau of Bellevue, Washington, discovered his passion for music at the age of six when he began his piano studies with Dr. Li-Cheng Anna Hung. Since then, he has distinguished himself in numerous local, national, and international competitions. In 2023, Caden won 3rd Prize in the American Protégé International Music Competition for Young Talents, making his debut at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. He returned to Carnegie Hall in 2024 through the American Protégé International Romantic Music Competition, and in 2025 was selected to perform at the Progressive Musicians Laureate & Prize Gala, marking his third consecutive Carnegie Hall appearance. Caden has also earned high honors at the Seattle Young Artist Music Festival, Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside, Bach Festival, and Virtuoso Festival. In addition to piano, he began studying violin in 2020 and performs in his school orchestra. Caden’s goal is to continue developing as a musician and to pursue a professional career as a pianist.

< Back Previous Jack Nossaman Next Gala at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall April 28, 2026 WATCH VIDEO Jack Nossaman (12) is a pianist from Northern Virginia who has been playing for six years and studies with Anna Ouspenskaya at the Hunter Mill Music Studio. He is a sixth grader at Nysmith School in Herndon, Virginia. Jack was awarded first place in the Northern Virginia Teachers Association Competition in 2024 and 2025. He enjoys a wide variety of music and is especially drawn to connecting with the emotion and character of a piece. Outside of piano, Jack spends a lot of time on the baseball field with his Vienna-based teams, where he has earned All-Star recognition. He is competitive and enjoys the challenge, but has learned that, like piano, the biggest gains come from showing up each day, putting in the work, and trusting that small improvements will add up over time. Away from the piano and the field, Jack enjoys basketball, reading, traveling, and time with friends.

< Back Previous Giampiero Bugliarello Next Gala at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall April 1, 2024 WATCH VIDEO Giampiero Bugliarello was introduced to the piano at age four, when he began experimenting with the family instrument and exploring its sound with an empirical curiosity. His formal musical training soon followed under the guidance of Ketty Teriaca. At age ten, he began studying music theory with Alberto Alibrandi, who guided his development as a classical pianist, composer, and jazz musician. At age eleven, Bugliarello enrolled at the Vincenzo Bellini Conservatory in Catania, under the direction of Carmelo Pappalardo, and graduated with high honors in piano performance. In 2015, he relocated to the United States to continue his studies in Piano Performance. He earned both his master’s and doctoral degrees at The Catholic University of America, where he was awarded two full scholarships and served as a teaching and research assistant. After completing his doctorate, he was appointed an ad honorem visiting scholar, conducting research for the Latin American Music Center in collaboration with Naxos en Español. Bugliarello currently teaches piano, composition, and music history at the Music School of Delaware and at the Fairfax Conservatory of Music in Fairfax, Virginia. He has furthered his musical studies at the Sommerakademie Mozarteum in Salzburg and at the Washington International Piano Festival. He is a prizewinner in several national and international competitions, including the Catholic University of America International Piano Competition, the Gianluca Campochiaro International Competition, the J. S. Bach National Competition, and the Ibla Grand Prize. His performance venues include Wiener Saal, Art Barns, Covington Center for the Performing Arts, the Kennedy Center, and Carnegie Weill Recital Hall. Bugliarello’s compositions are published by DaVinci Editions and distributed by Hal Leonard Europe. She has earned top awards in several competitions, including First Prize in the Great Composers Competition and First and Second Prize in the Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association Piano Competition. She was also a semifinalist in the Sound Espressivo Competition. Olivia enjoys performing on stage and thrives in musical settings. In addition to piano, Olivia loves dance. She is a member of a junior competition team and trains in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and musical theater. Energetic and curious, she enjoys drawing, gymnastics, and playing basketball, and lately has taken an interest in badminton with her dad. Warm-hearted and community-minded, Olivia has performed piano and dance at local senior homes every Christmas since age five, sharing music and holiday cheer with residents.
