Neal

Violin Virtuoso Neal Eisfeldt (12), student of Almita Vamos and scholarship Fellow at both the Music Institute of Chicago (MIC) Academy and the prestigious Chicago Music Pathways Initiative (CMPI) for advanced pre-college musicians; made solo debut at Carnegie Hall at age 10. Has won several national and international competitions; awarded Grand Prize winner at Enkor International over all categories up to age 25, First Prize and Exceptional Young talent special award at both Bonn and Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso competitions, the France Music competition, and first prize in the Society of American Musicians.
He also plays orchestra music formerly with the Midwest Philharmonic Orchestra and currently at the MIC Academy; is also a member of the Rose string quartet under eminent laureate Jasmine Lin. In his free time, Neal enjoys listening to his favorite violinists Itzhak Perlman and Jascha Heifetz, and reading about historic classical musicians. He also enjoys playing violin duets with his father and his sister.
