FLAUTIST

I am a flautist based in Cardiff in Wales, and mother to two boys. I love giving recitals, and I particularly love playing opera fantasies and the music of Ian Clarke. I am passionate about making music accessible, particularly to young children. I grew up in Northumberland in North East England and studied at Huddersfield University and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. I have played with the Welsh Sinfonia and chamber ensemble Opus 8, and worked alongside woodwind players from BBC NOW, as well as recital work and children's concerts.
