Ximurong (Jasmine) Zhai, born in Shenzhen on September 6, 2007, is a passionate young pianist currently studying with Dr. Olga Chichova at the Canada Academy of Music & Arts. She has been drawn to the piano since kindergarten, and her dedication and love for music have led to numerous awards, including the Overall Prize in the 2023 Steinway Piano Competition, Gold Star and Best Classical, Modern, & Sonata Performance in the 2023 Music and Stars Awards, the 2023 Steinway Cup, first place in the 2022 OMFA Piano Duets category, second prize in the IPPA Conero International Piano Festival & Competition, and second place in the 2016 Hong Kong International Invitation Piano Competition, among others.
Jasmine continues to grow as a musician, sharing her artistry through regular performances and participating in various charity concerts, consistently demonstrating her passion for piano and commitment to excellence.
