Marilyn Jia

Marilyn Jia, violinist, began her studies at the age of six with James Greening-Valenzuela. A prizewinner in numerous competitions, her recent achievements include First Prize in both the Pelican International Competition for Young Musicians and the North California Young Talents Competition. Marilyn performs with the Young People's Symphony Orchestra in Berkeley, CA, and the East Bay Chamber Orchestra, where she has served as co-concertmaster. She recently completed Level 10 examinations in both the RCM and ASTACAP programs.
