Jazzelle Ren is a junior at Miramonte High School in Orinda, CA. She has excelled in Certificate of Merit and ASTACAP examinations, performed with her school orchestra and the East Bay Chamber Orchestra, and tutors elementary-level violin students. A second-place winner in the North California Young Talent Competition, Jazzelle enjoys traveling—recently visiting Europe and Southeast Asia—and is an avid skier and snowboarder, currently pursuing her Level 1 PSIA ski instructor certification.
