She began studying the violin at the age of seven with her grandfather, building upon a cherished family tradition and a shared love for the instrument. Over the past six years, Emily has developed into a gifted young musician, earning multiple awards in local violin competitions. Her achievements are a testament to her passion, perseverance, and growing artistry. Since 2024, Emily has continued her advanced studies under the guidance of Olga Khroulevitch, a distinguished violin pedagogue known for her mastery of the Russian School of violin technique and for mentoring many accomplished students in the United States. Under Ms. Khroulevitch’s direction, Emily continues to refine her technical and expressive skills, striving toward ever greater musical excellence.

    < Back Agnes Tse Violin Learn More Videos About It has been said that violinist Agnes Tse’s musical journey began in her baby stroller when she was transfixed by a performance of Herbert von Karajan conducting on TV. She had to wait until she was four before receiving a size 1/8 violin as a toy and the violin has been her closest companion ever since. While recently completing her Master of Music degree at The Juilliard School as a student of Lewis Kaplan and Joel Smirnoff, within one remarkable two-week span, she worked with the London Symphony Orchestra under Sir Simon Rattle and was offered a position with the Baltimore Symphony under Marin Alsop. A native of Hong Kong, Ms Tse has appeared as a soloist with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra. A participant of the New York String Orchestra Seminar at Carnegie Hall, she has been heard at the Music Academy of the West, Tanglewood Music Center, Bowdoin International Music Festival and the International Summer Academy, Mozarteum Universität Salzburg; where she studied with Pierre Amoyal and Zakhar Bron. An avid chamber musician, she has appeared in Juilliard’s ChamberFest and London Symphony Orchestra’s Discovery Day where she performed in a string quartet with David Alberman, Principal Second Violin of the LSO. Her chamber music mentors include Emanuel Ax, Pamela Frank, Yo-Yo Ma and the Juilliard and Takács quartets. She has also performed with the two contemporary music ensembles at the Juilliard School, AXIOM and New Juilliard Ensemble. Ms. Tse was a former Co-Concertmaster of the Juilliard Orchestra, Assistant Concertmaster of the Symphony in C and has been a substitute player at the New York Philharmonic and Princeton Symphony Orchestra.     < Back Previous Emilia Tamburri Next WATCH VIDEO A graduate of The Juilliard School (MM) and New England Conservatory (BM), Emilia’s award-winning music has been recorded, commissioned, and performed worldwide, including at Lincoln Center, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, The Juilliard School, New England Conservatory, Montclair State University, Bowdoin International Music Festival, Tanglewood Music Center, and Freie Universität in Berlin, Germany. She has been programmed by The Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra, One World Symphony, and Grace Church Choir, and collaborated with the New York Choral Consortium to demystify the process of working with living composers. Emilia was recognized by the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer award, The American Prize in both the chamber and orchestral divisions, and received two composition awards from New England Conservatory. She was accepted as a composition fellow at Boston University Tanglewood Institute, Bowdoin International Music Festival, FUBIS, and Arts Letters and Numbers, and was supported by the Irene Diamond Fellowship to attend The Juilliard School. Her primary teachers include Samuel Adler, Robert Beaser, Lee Hyla, and Robert Aldridge. Emilia is a passionate educator with a focus on composition and music theory. She is currently an administrator at Manhattan School of Music as well as a mentor to composition students at New England Conservatory. She is also a long-distance runner and human rights activist.

She earned her Associate’s degree from Schenectady County Community College and her Bachelor’s from C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. Jessica has performed at the iconic Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY, as part of their Amateur Night, earning a return invitation after captivating the famously discerning audience. She spent ten years with the Cecilia Chorus of New York, serving as a member and Ticket Co-Chair, performing in two annual Carnegie Hall concerts. Known around the city as the “Opera Singer of Central Park,” Jessica has also performed with the American Ballet Theater, Teatro Grattacielo, the Jackie Gleason Theater, and contributed to projects such as the Kingdom Hearts – World of Tres and the Dear Evan Hansen Virtual Choir. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, and is thrilled to make her Carnegie Hall debut.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Music from the College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad, he went on to study piano at the Music and Ballet School of Baghdad under esteemed Russian pianists Igor Chernyavsky and Agnes Bashir. Before coming to the United States, Hassan spent six years teaching and performing in Amman, Jordan, where his artistry brought him invitations to perform for the Jordanian Royal Family, foreign dignitaries, and members of the Diplomatic Corps. In September 2001, Hassan arrived in the United States as a refugee, finding a new beginning in Buffalo, New York. He continued his piano studies with Kenneth Atkinson at the Community Music School of Buffalo (CMS), where he later joined the faculty as a Teaching Artist and eventually became Chair of the Piano Department. Hassan’s performances have taken him across the Middle East and the United States, where he is admired for his expressive musicianship and commitment to music education. He currently resides in Buffalo with his wife, Jennifer.

His lush sound and inimitable ability to connect with audiences have garnered him accolades from listeners, presenters and critics alike. Recent seasons have been full of firsts, including his debut this season at the Seoul Arts Center in South Korea with the KammerSymphonie Berlin, and his recent inaugural recording with the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra. Equally notable benchmarks include Chudnovsky’s debut with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Jalisco in Mexico, when he replaced an indisposed soloist for a previously unknown concerto on ten days’ notice. Other recent appearances included Chudnovsky’s recital debut in Auckland, New Zealand, and concert debuts with the Macon Symphony, the Palm Beach Symphony and the Orquesta de la Ciudad de los Reyes in Lima, Peru. On radio, Chudnovsky has been featured on NPR’s “Performance Today”, Boston’s WGBH and the UK’s BBC3. His chamber music activity has also been intense, with repeated festival appearances at the famed Newport Music Festival and at Germany’s Henselt Festival, as well as concerts at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, New York’s Merkin Hall and London’s Wigmore Hall. A veteran of the competition circuit, Chudnovsky is the winner of top prizes from nine international competitions. He holds 1st Prize from the XI International Curci Violin Competition (Naples), 1st Prize from the Young Artists Competition of the National Federation of Music Clubs and, most recently, 1st prize from the Valsesia-Musica International Violin Competition (Milan). Twice a laureate of the “Premio Paganini” International Competition, he also holds 2nd Prize from the D’Angelo International Competition, as well as awards from the Rodolfo Lipizer, Szeryng and Enescu international competitions. Chudnovsky has performed in Great Britain, Italy, Israel, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. In the United States, he has played recitals and concerts with orchestra in Washington DC, Illinois, Ohio, Virginia, New York, South Dakota, Maryland, California and Florida, including multiple appearances at Carnegie Recital Hall, and a debut at the Encore Summer Festival in Ohio that gave him the unique distinction of being the only non-CIM student or alumnus invited to appear on the Festival’s Blue Ribbon series. Releasing his first solo album, “So, What Have You Done Lately?” in 2000, Chudnovsky followed it in 2002 with a live concert recording of the Bruch and Saint-Saens #3 violin concerti. His third CD – “The Golden Age” (JB Records) – was released in 2005, making him the first American violinist to record in China for a Chinese label. The same year, he was featured in a series of live radio broadcasts from the Mostly Mozart Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa. Since then, Chudnovsky has performed to great critical acclaim all over the world, having toured extensively in Europe, Asia, North and South America. Emil Chudnovsky was born in Moscow, Russia to renowned violinist Nina Beilina and the late eminent opera conductor, Maestro Israel Chudnovsky. After immigrating to the United States, Chudnovsky began violin studies at the Mannes College of Music pre-college division. Having studied at The Juilliard School and the Manhattan School of Music, he holds degrees from the Mannes College of Music and Yale University. She holds a degree in Musical Disciplines with specializations in Interpretation and Composition, Music Education, Singing, and Social Sciences, and serves as a Music Education teacher at the Ministry of Education and Merit. With over 20 years of concert experience, Aida has performed extensively as a soloist, chamber musician, and artistic director of cultural events, concert seasons, and music courses. From 2002 to 2022, she held the position of President of both the Civic Music School of Molise and the Molise Symphony Orchestra, leading the latter on tours throughout Italy and abroad. A laureate of numerous national and international music competitions, Aida has collaborated with major concert institutions and appeared in prestigious Italian theaters. A versatile and inquisitive artist, her repertoire spans Baroque, Classical, and Romantic opera and chamber music, as well as jazz. She has performed leading roles in celebrated operas such as La Traviata, Rigoletto, Tosca, La Bohème, Gianni Schicchi, L’Elisir d’Amore, and Cavalleria Rusticana. In addition to her performing career, Aida is deeply engaged in the study of music therapy and art therapy. Her thesis in music therapy reflects her enduring interest in exploring how music serves as a powerful tool for both artistic expression and personal growth.
